The Education Committee is a newly created committee with a purpose to research, plan and organize educational opportunities for all members. It may mean finding out what type of education/training is available for committee members up to organizing sessions for members on topics as diverse as growing food to home repairs.
At the discretion of the Board, a budget may be provided to host certain educational opportunities.
Duties include:
• Research educational opportunities for all members
• Hold and attend regular meetings to discuss ideas and plan events
• Validate vendor invoices and submit for payment
• Advertise/promote the educational opportunities through the Pheasant Meadows Facebook Group/posters/email
• On a quarterly basis, submit a summary report of activities to the Board
• Up to 3 positions available
• Positions on this committee will be appointed by the Board
